Budgies, Rubber Gloves & Plants with Teeth!

Don't get us wrong...we love our free-range budgies...but OMG - they are pushing their luck at the moment. They have started trying to eat the wall paper, the blinds, the curtains...pretty much anything they can chew. We put a box of rubber gloves behind the pipe where they were chewing the wallpaper, so instead of chewing the wall, they chewed the box...right open....and started pulling out rubber gloves....

We decided we had to to do something...

After a trip to B & Q, Jim set to work in the new shelter in the back garden...

A wooden frame appeared....

Ta Da! A beautiful birdy playground!

They can jump out of their cage, out of the window and into the aviary, anytime they like.

They can either be in the warm or out in the fresh air now!

Nice one Jim!
The budgies are very happy...and so is our wallpaper.

In other news...we also fulfilled a life long dream...we bought a venus fly trap! We fed it a raisin!

We are living the dream!
