Painting the Town Red and Pink and Blue…

Hello! Sorry for the lack of posting lately! Amongst other jobs, we have been painting a mural in Brixham, on the side of an ice-cream parlour. Here is a picture update of what we have been up to…

So, we got up everyday and scooted down the hill to the harbour!

The 'I.Scream' Parlour, where we are painting the mural. Here is Jim, Rachel and 'Fletch' - the owner. They sell amazing ice-creams and sundaes. (We tested them)

The view from work…

Day one - the blank wall, all ready for us to paint on!

Mummy and baby seagull…

Daddy Seagull….

Day two and we got some scaffolding put up to paint 'Fletch' our ice-cream seller!

Day three…we have shutters and a finished ice-cream man!

Time for a coffee break!

Day four and we are sign-writing. This is the view from the scaffold.  It may not look that high but I keep getting shaky legs when I look down. It doesn't help when so-called 'friends' keep shaking the scaffolding for the 'Earthquake Test'. I may 'accidentally' spill my paint on them next time they do this...

Jim hard at work…look at his concentrating face. I'm sure I saw his tongue pop out a few times.

Hard at work...

So, we are back to work tomorrow and we hope to get it all finished. Once it's all done, we will post a photo of the finished wall! We hope you have had a good week so far…what have you been up to? We would love to know! Flossy and Jim - Over and Out! X
